Walking Tour: Kobe City Hall and the Old Foreign Settlement

Established in 1868 at the same time as the opening of Kobe Port, Kyoryuchi allowed foreigners to live and do business freely.
Then, due to the revision of the Treaty, It was returned, it was called the“Old Foreign Settlement”. Now, we have arranged for a “Walking Tour of the Old Foreign Settlement” which hopefully would help you enjoy the cityscape with its exotic atmosphere.
You can intimately feel Kobe’s history through numerous historic sites and monuments scattered around the area.

This event will provide explanations in English using a wireless guide system.

13:00 Assemble at SANKITA Square (near the West Exit of JR Sannomiya Station and the East Ticket Gate of Hankyu Kobe Sannomiya Station)
13:15 Walk to Kobe City Hall 1st floor lobby. Start the walking tour
15:00 Walk to the conference room after the walking tour in Chinatown (coffee break) Held an exchange meeting with volunteer guides
15:30 End of exchange meeting
